Disclaimer

The calculators show unofficial practice composites based on section points entered by users. They do not produce official AP scores or reliably predict the 1–5 result for a particular exam year. Actual scores and exam rules are determined by College Board.

Educational explanations and original practice questions supplement, but do not replace, your teacher’s guidance and official course materials. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate; report a correction through our contact page.

Practice scores are estimates of a composite

We scale user-entered practice marks by published section weights. We do not claim to know the official conversion between a particular year’s raw results and the AP 1–5 score. An unofficial composite should not be reported as an official result or used as a guarantee for college credit, admissions or class placement. Read the calculation methodology for assumptions and arithmetic.
