Editorial Policy

We write original explanations for AP World History: Modern students and use official College Board course and exam documentation for exam format and rubric facts. We link to primary sources where practical and separate our practice exercises from official questions.

Calculator formulas and assumptions appear on the methodology page. We avoid claiming fixed 1–5 cutoffs without defensible evidence. When the exam changes, we review the affected tool labels, articles and guidance before updating them.

Corrections can be submitted through the contact form. We evaluate reports against primary documentation and correct verified errors. Publication dates reflect the actual WordPress publication record; we do not invent author credentials or exam experience.

Research and attribution

We prioritize current official AP Central course descriptions, exam overviews and scoring guidelines for claims about exam format and rubrics. Historical explanations should use accurate chronology and named examples rather than invented statistics or fabricated quotations. We link to source pages where readers can check changing exam details. Original practice prompts are labeled independent material, and we do not claim that a checklist automatically grades an essay.

Review and updates

When College Board announces a change, we check whether the affected article, calculator labels, formula or practice instruction needs revision. We distinguish a course-content update from a question-format update and avoid silently applying a new rule to older exam years. Publication dates on articles are their actual WordPress dates; material revisions should be evaluated for an appropriate update date. We do not create fictitious author credentials.

Corrections and conflicts

Readers may identify a factual issue through Contact Us, ideally with the page URL and a supporting primary source. We check the claim, correct substantiated errors and clarify ambiguous wording. Calculator results and educational judgments are separate: a mathematical result can be checked independently, while a writing response may require qualified human review. Advertising, if introduced, must not control the factual conclusions in study material.
